About Camela
Camela is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago. She is also an ACCA Affiliate making progress towards full membership. Camela was awarded Third Place in the Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) Examinations by The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in conjunction with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Trinidad and Tobago (ICATT).
Working in an accounting environment for over thirteen (13) years, Camela has built up a great amount of experience in the field of accounting and payroll services. She started off working in small accounting firms which built her foundation of accounting and auditing. Prior to ARK Outsourcing Limited, Camela worked with one of the leading car manufacturers for approximately five (5) years adding to her practical accounting and payroll experience and was subsequently promoted to a supervisory position which helped develop her ability to manage people and systems.
Her vast experience in accounting and familiarity with the entire financial reporting process, from data entry to management accounts, specific eye for inconsistencies, willingness to learn and time management skills, have allowed her to consistently add value to ARK Outsourcing Limited. She is a people person and works well within a team. These strengths, along with her ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment, made it easy to involve her in the processing of payrolls and made her the perfect fit for the supervisory function.
